The outcome recording method applies in uniform behaviors where one expects unique results. Observers can use this easy-to-use method at their own convenience. This is because one checks on the results rather than the observable behavior. Outcome recording can also apply in recording complex behavior. The drawback of this method is that it cannot observe emotions or feelings expressed by people. Consequently, one has to be sure the outcome is unique for the method to apply.
