Annotated Bibliography
While several nations a faced with far reaching problems resulting from battling ethnicities, America is faced with the problem of racial discrimination. In a similar manner, there are classes in America with semantically the same effects to the effect of racial discrimination. The classes influences the way members of the society think and carry out their day to day activities even though there are several strategies that can be employed to dissolve the classes.

One’s view of religion is normally greatly influenced by the socio-economic class that one belongs to. However, in can be noted that America is fast becoming a two class society owing to the fact that the middle class is fast disappearing. Collado’s book titled The Shrinking Middle Class: Why America Is Becoming a Two-Class Society into some of reason why America’s middle class is vanishing. A critical look at the Collado’s assertions gives insight to the reasons why the America society is stratified. This means that the book can use for giving reasons why there are classes in America

With regards to the paper, there is a need for the understanding of the meaning of classes, particularly socio-economic classes. Annette Lareau, and Dalton Conley in their book attempt to give a definition of socio economic class. Pointedly, the definition given by the Authors in the book is not very pricese even though one of the best when compared with the definitions given by other authors. The book in will be utile in defining classes before reviewing the cause and effect of having these classes in America.

The overriding ideology in this book is that the middle class in America is vanishing at an overly high rate. Current the prevailing classes in America are the Rich and the Poor. Gilbert’s books offers an exhaustive analysis of the various method through which the classes can be dissolved. The book offers suggestions on how the gap between poor and the rich can be reduced hence, while looking at the problems that are caused by the classes in America, it indubitable that the book will be instrumental.
