Abstract
Several experts have been concern about the effectiveness of recycling in mitigating the effects of pollution and global warming. Some even argued that the recycling process is economically and environmentally ineffective due to the large costs and large amounts of energy required for the process. However, the practice of recycling should be continued and improved since it has numerous potential benefits against its alternatives.
