Drake’s 2015 song “Hotline Bling” contains sexist lyrics that objectify women and effectively imply the technique of slut shaming and male dependence. The overlying theme of these song is the idea that this woman has lost all of her self-respect because her boyfriend has left her, showcasing the objectifying idea that men are responsible for the identity of females.
