Income Inequality
Abstract The purpose of this research paper is to establish income inequality as a serious socio-economic issue. The views of various social and economic writers have been explored to prove that the unfairly effects the low income class. A critical examination is made regarding inequality of opportunities available to low income class, as compared to the higher ones. Several studies conducted by prestigious institutions are cited to back the claim that income inequality hinders economic growth by increasing poverty and unemployment.
