Introduction to Film: Focus on Society
According to Peter Lalonde, our culture and values are passed along through film. Among the movies I watched, these two movies captured my attention; “Apocalypto” directed by Mel Gibson and “Shooter” directed by Antoine Fuqua. In “Apocalypto,” communicates positive facets that provide comfort to the soul, the message on how to reject fear as a human sickness, alluding to the society where fear is utilized as a way of brainwashing.
