In my opinion, medical marijuana should be legal in order to enable the patients curb the dangerous symptoms related to diseases like cancer and AIDS. Marijuana reduces high levels of pain and suffering associated with diseases as cancer and epilepsy among the patients. Proper use of medical marijuana shows no or minor negative effects on the patients (Berlatsky 14). The government should legalize the use of medical marijuana in order to relieve the pain and suffering among the patients of diseases like AIDS and cancer in hospitals. Medical marijuana helps reduce the effects of depression and trauma associated with such severe symptoms.
