It is mandatory that certain rules regarding the research need to be put in place to achieve the boards’ objective. Awareness of the three basic ethical principles of research should be known to all researchers because; the rules and regulation modelled from the ethical principles. Similarly, the board should be aware that there are different research works which need to be looked into and, therefore, come up with a guideline that will cover it up.
Researchers should have the freedom to choose any area of interest to conduct a study on. Nonetheless, human rights have to be respected, and the environmental regulations must not be violated. It enables a society to know the happenings around them and how to find possible solutions where necessary.
In many cases, researchers conduct very sensitive studies, for instance, natural disasters and health related topics which are very informative. However, minimal or no action is taken to help the people in need. Solving society issues should be the motive that drives research work.
The government and experts in different areas must study the research materials thoroughly before releasing it to the field. Anybody found using human beings to carry out a study without authorization should be punished. Every research strives to promote benefits for the society that sponsors it. Credible sources and evidence encourage society to keep supporting them. When sensitive contents of research are kept confidential as promised, many people will be willing to speak out required information to help society
