In both capacities, Nelesen Flumo manages and performs a broad range of senior executive functions including, most notably, managing activities for staff, volunteer and broader community at large (e.g. processing logistical and communication matters and organizing group meetings); offering assistance in planning and managing corporate events and online presence (particularly on social and professional networks); following up on ongoing and/or completed projects; and acting as initial contact point and liaison officer for insured clients.
The current competency portfolio is informed by earlier floating, executive as well as non-for profit experiences, experiences which now have helped lay solid foundations for Nelesen Flumo's current, executive proficiencies and competencies. Notably, over 2007-2008 span, Nelesen Flumo joined Rollins Accounting & Inventory Services as a Floating Administrative Assistant, a role in which she has acquired critical executive knowledge and office management experience. Moreover, over 2001-2007, Nelesen Flumo joined The Arc of Baltimore as a Residential Program Manager, role in which she has gained considerable community experience and, significantly, learning critical, strategic networking skills in engaging multiple stakeholders.
Nelesen Flumo has received her education at Community College of Baltimore County and holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management. Nelesen Flumo ("Nelly" among family and friends) was born in Monrovia, Liberia. She experienced a rich and mobile childhood spent in several African countries which helped her learn different local dialects in addition to French. Nelesen Flumo is now married to a childhood playmate since 2008 and has an adorable, inquisitive Robert, Jr. Nelesen Flumo is interested in law and political fiction, particularly by John Grisham and Vince Flynn.
