I write with the goal that you will consider my application to fill the position of assistant manager in your customer service and relations department as advertised on your website.
My passionate involvement in the hospitality industry over the past few years has nurtured my passion for the provision of excellent customer service while contributing to an enduring experience for the customers served. I strive on passing the espoused values to every staff member I work with, ensuring that the organizations brand image is promoted and protected at the same time. In my experience as a supervisor in Wu herbal remedies, I collaborated effectively with the management in sourcing remedies, while at the time ensuring customers of the efficacy of the remedies. I am keen on applying my knowledge in a career in customer care and cannot wait to join the team at Apple and be part of the excellent company culture.
I have completed bachelors in hospitality, majoring on operations. Also, I have taken several short courses about customer service and customer relationship. I am currently working towards my certificate in hospitality, focused on supervisory roles. Modules in leadership, finance and operations are already done and have proved to be invaluable in providing relevant knowledge and skills in performing in customer care.
My short stint working with Frisk Place hotel called for effective interaction with a huge team of people while at the same time building a relationship with the visitors to the hotel. Taking care of disadvantaged customers such as the disabled also fell under my care, and called for the application of compassion and patience. The accumulation and application of such values in a work situation places me in good stead to succeed in the role advertised.
This position attracts me because I am convinced that my leadership skills, as well as a keen eye for detail, will be valuable to the company.
Apple Inc. is a global enterprise born in the United States that deals with the design, production and marketing of personal computers, computer software, and consumer electronics such as iPhones as well as online marketing of services. The company’s products are well recognized in the market and include the Macintosh computer, iPod, iPad and the iPhone (Reuters, Par 3). The company’s founder, Steve Jobs had a particular nick for effective and unique solutions on how people interacted with their computers. These insights remain as the key drivers of the company culture. In one instance, Jobs was quoted as saying if he asked people what they desired their probable answer would have been ‘faster horses (Reuters, Par 6).' Customers only respond by what they know to be existent, rather than on what is possible. The company is built around understanding the customer experience in more detail than the customer could. Apple has therefore managed to stay at the top of the technology industry through innovation continuously improving the customer experience with each product they develop. Apple has the formula for attracting and retaining customers through customer experience and brand appeal.
