Precisely, the paper will offers a discussion of the similarities and differences between the mission statements of Four Seasons and Ritz- Carlton’s Corporations. While much has been hypothesized regarding a company’s mission statement, it is of the essence to note that the most comprehensive role of a company’s mission statement is to offer a comprehensive overview of a company’s core values and policies. As such, they should be succinct and meaningful.
An analysis of the mission statements of Four Seasons and Ritz- Carlton’s shows that they portray a wider array of similarities. More importantly, both shows the core values of the two corporations. To be precise, the core value noted by Four Seasons mission statement is the “Golden Rule,” which aligns with the need to have a positive influence on the communities from the contexts where they carry out its business operations. Similarly, Ritz- Carlton’s mission statement has its core value is “THE CREDO,” which is guided by the premise that the firm belongs to all; hence, should be owned by all. While it is true that these two core values that form the premise of Four Seasons and Ritz- Carlton’s mission statements may appear different, it is essential to note that the two values emphasize on the need to associate the corporations with the people they serve.
