Executive Summary This essay will present recommendations on how to improve the present policies and programs for children with incarcerated parents in Florida. One of the major program types for incarcerated parents is the Special Parent-Child Visits. This special type of program will provide opportunities for the parents to spend extended time with their children on-site inside the prison grounds.
