Assume you are preparing the customer satisfaction questionnaire. What types of questions would you include? Prepare five questions that you would ask.
What is the state of the restaurant and its surrounding environments as concerns cleanliness and hygiene?
Are the portions of food served right as per the customers’ feedback?
How well are the staffs working there gloomed?
Are the general services of the restaurant well rated by the customers?
Do customers have to queue or wait for a long time to be served?
What types of questions would you ask the waiters?
What category of people normally eats from the restaurant?
What are the terms used to describe the various foods offered? Are such terms universally acceptable?
In what areas are improvements required? What can be done to make these improvements effective?
Are you interested in the health of the people you serve? Do you tell them of the foods that are not fit for their health?
Do you see need for improvements in the quality of foods offered? What have you done to see that happen? (Gerson, 1993).
What types of questions would you ask the cooks?
What do you give priority in the food industry? Health or money?
Do you consider diversity of customers when preparing meals?
When cooking does you consider other foods in terms of quantity than others?
Do you ensure the cutlery you use is clean always?
How helpful are other staff members in terms of being informative to ensure quality?
What types of documents are you likely to obtain for further study? What types of documents will most likely not be available? Why?
The documents required here to aid further study include the visiting records and reservation records. These will help in telling more about the different categories of people who have been served in the concerned restaurant and their feedback as regards customer satisfaction. However, financial documents that are needed in establishing more studies may not be available since most managers regard them as being highly confidential (Gerson, 1993).
What modern requirements determination methods are appropriate for this project?
Prototyping can be considered the most effective method to be used in this scenario. This is so since its applicability allows for interviewing and actions are almost entirely based on the customers’ feedback. It's also a simple method to use, hence its suitability in this instance (Szwarc, 2005).
