Any Corporate in the contemporary world is trying to counter competition and acquire a competitive place in the market through combining personal values to the core values of the business. This desertion seeks to explore the differences and the degree of alignment between my values and the values of TOMS Shoes and Eyewear.
In this perspective, having a set of values is very crucial for an individual seeking to procure a sustainable working position in any company or commercial enterprise. I developed my personal qualities from my own aspiration to work in a fast growing industry that gives room for innovation and diversity. Over the years, I have learnt the importance of positive personal qualities through my experience at various business institutions. Other aspects such as teamwork have also helped me to develop a set of qualities. The shoe company having been formed in 2006 in a competitive business environment hence has been urged to form outstanding corporate and combine them to the employees personal values to compete with the market.
Accordingly, among my most honored personal values including adaptability, work ethics, and positive attitude has promoted my behavior in terms of respects towards other employees and being honest in my work. Moreover, personal qualities are essential in fostering a team working employee with considerably reduced conflicts and incivility.
Categorically, TOMS and Eyewear Company alignment of core values is directed at higher profitability through cohesion with the overall business plan. The organization has an active plan that outlines core value that includes social responsibility to the customer and the community around. The company makes considerable efforts in trying to create environmentally friendly products. In order to achieve the set economic objectives, the company has developed a system that allows customers to obtain a free new pair of shoes in the event they purchase a new pair of either glasses or shoes. The outlined competitive model is supported by an ethically trained employee body in handling customers and other critical issues affecting the business.
Thus, as much as a shoe manufacturing company has a set of significant values, some of the qualities contradict with my personal values and qualities. The company values the aspect of innovation but declines the concept of collaboration of employees. Since the employees have different personal values, it is advisable for the company to collaborate personal values to enhance teamwork. Also, the company should promote diversity through eliminating disrespectful and gossiping individuals in the company. However, the company promotes positive values that help to create ambitious, integrity, diplomatic, and decisive employee body.
In a nutshell, TOMS Shoes and Eyewear Company have consistently developed since 2006. This is largely attributed to its outlined corporate values that have been essential in creating a business culture that is socially responsible especially preserving the environment and helping the underprivileged in the society. As such, there is more to running a business; other than just making profits.
