Registering drones in the United States
Flying drones can be funny. In fact, it is a hobby for most of the United States citizens. People are buying drones at a high rate as they are all over the internet and can be accessed easily online. However, most of the users of these drones do not register with relevant authority, putting the security of the air users into deep danger. Most pilots have expressed their fear on the increased unmanned aircraft in the air. Not only the pilots have expressed their fears but also passengers. According to On Point radio, there are some people who will opt to use the train rather than the plane due to the fear that one day these unmanned aircraft can crash their plane.
The registration of the aerial vehicles can bring some sense of responsibility back in our air space. Some of the interesting cases and, unfortunately, very sad, is when a drone landed on the roofs of the White House. Many people have also complained about the danger they feel they are in due to the unmanned drones. On Point agrees that drones are a danger to even those walking on streets. A mother claims that an object crashed on her son’s face while walking on the streets. The latest incidence of drone accidents is when one landed in the US Open stands.
I support the idea of registering all the aerial vehicles to bring back sanity into the American airspace. During the time of registration, the owner of the drone must be made to understand the spaces they can fly and what repercussions they will face in case their registered drones fly where they should not. Everyone must be responsible with their drones. Even though it is fun and hobby to fly drones, no one’s life should be put in danger. Without proper registration, an enemy of the United States can use this opportunity to put the lives of the American people in deep danger. No one wants a repeat of the 9/11.
