The Ozark Big Eared Bat
The Ozark Big Eared Bats (Corynorhinus townsendii ingens) are found in different habitats accross the United States. They are limited in number and are found in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma; however, it was reported that they are no longer found in Missouri because of the destruction of the environment. In Oklahoma, they are found in Adair County and adjacent parts of Cherokee and Delaware counties. In the early 1970s, the Ozark big eared bats were documented to only be a hundred in Missouri.
