An emotion regulation refers to the ability of a person to manage constructively and cope with his or her feelings. It can also be defined as means the process by which a person influence the emotions to have, when and how to experience the emotions. Individuals respond or express emotions in three ways. These ways are behavioural, experiential or physiological. Behavioural response means outward manifestation of emotions while experiential response implies internal reaction to an emotion.
