Gender and Women’s Studies is a field that I would like to pursue. Gender equality and women empowerment are things that I consider to be of great importance, especially since there’s still a gender gap even in the 21st century. I greatly admire my mother who is very supportive of me, and my many experiences in volunteer work and other group participations have shown me that women are capable of making important contributions in our society. As such, I would like to be instrumental in some way in the elimination of this gender gap.
