I have read and analyzed two texts related to journalism and interviewing. From both articles we can learn about the life of unusual teenagers – a ballerina and a poker-player. However, although there are two articles with similar purposes and from similar category, we can find a few differences between them. The article by Laurine Gilde looks rather like an interview written down on paper and transferred in the article. It is much smaller than the article by Candyce Cook. Besides, we can see many cases of direct speech, where the main character shares her thoughts, experience, and feelings. ...
