Feng Shui is the Westernized term for the word ‘Fung Soy’, which is the correct pronunciation in Cantonese (Si, 2011). In other Chinese dialects the pronunciation of feng shui is quite different as it was originally, ‘Fung Shway’ (Levitt, 2000 p.1).
