Re: Target Corporation Quarterly Statement (2014)
Target Corporation has specialized in offering high quality products and services to its customers at relatively low prices. Target has been a setting the pace in the manufacture of furniture products with consideration given to customer taste and preferences. Compromise on quality has, however, not been part of the company’s history and will never be.
Our mission ‘Expect More. Pay Less’ defines the basic ideology of the company. The need to offer high quality products with high discount rates is based on Target’s realization that the customer holds a great level of influence. The technological advancements have had an influence on the operations of the market. Target Corp. has been able to increase its online presence with the major target being the middle-aged generation with middle-level income (Target Corporation, 2014). The company’s website provides a range of services that cut across all generations from the young children to teenagers and adults at middle-age and old age. With this, the company has been able to hold onto its market share despite the high level of competition.
The market response has been overwhelming with most of our customers responding positively to our services and products. This success has, however, not been without challenges. Rival competitors have tapped up our highly creative workforce at the peak of their powers and this has not worked out well for Target. We have been forced to adopt new strategies to retain our employees (Target Corporation SWOT Analysis, 2012).
The company hopes to beat all the existing and potential challenges in order to retain and increase its market share in a highly dynamic business world. Target will not relent to provide high quality products and services sensitive to the economic situation of the clients.
