Introduction
This paper summarizes the key policies that were implemented by the United States Federal Reserve Bank in the period between 2008 and 2010. This time period under review presented a unique economic environment for the Federal Reserve and the US economy as a whole, due to the Global Financial Crisis which begun in the second half of 2008.
