Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO), 2010 noted that recent research has identified several psychosocial and biologic risk factors for postpartum depression (PPD). Early recognition is one of the major challenges with this overwhelming mood disorder. The main focus of this project is to provide easy access to educational materials to aid in the screening, assessment, and treatment of women who experience depression during pregnancy or the postpartum period.
