An extremely ambitious project from a very young director, Xavier Dolan, the romantic drama “Laurence Anyways” follows the love story between Fred (Suzanne Clement) and Laurence (Melvin Poupad). Ironically, although they both have masculine names, Fred and Laurence are women.
