Today the problem of smoking is very actual. There is a great number of people, that smoke everywhere. That is why, non smokers are hostage of the situation. In this case, the non smokers cannot be a side of this global disaster of society. Also, people smoke in public areas, which is not acceptable, because there are a lot of people and children that do not smoke. It is dangerous for their health. They have to defend their own rights. I am concerned about smoking because it has been estimated that one billion people could die from smoking on the global level in the current century. This is a concern of public interest due to the fact that smoking does not only affect people who smoke, but also the non-smokers who are exposed to secondhand smoke. I do not think that people are completely aware of the severity of this issue, because they keep smoking in spite of all the warnings which are supposed to make them comprehend the hazardous effects of smoking.
