For the purposes of this paper an electronic search was conducted using the following databases: CINAHL Complete ProQuest Health & Medical Collection Ovid Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition Google Scholar The search parameters included English-only, peer-reviewed articles published between the years 2010 and 2016.
