Abstract
This paper examines the criminal justice system of the United States and how it operates. It commences with the review of the judicial system of America and proceeds to examine government policies and how they have been utilized to deal with crime in America. Evidence shows that there is a challenge of defining an objective system of criminal justice in America because America’s bill of rights ensures that juries are utilized.
