I did my observation at The Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School (GBLUES). The school works in joint agreement with the University of Shippensburg, and this laboratory school is also attached to the university’s College of Education and Human Services. The Luhrs School has a reputation of being the first certified green school building in Pennsylvania, as the building is designed to be energy efficient with minimum environmental impact.
