This research proposal will employ a longitudinal experimental design to investigate student learning using Project-based learning for middle school literature classrooms within the same school. The results will be measured by IOWA testing every term over a 3 year time period and compared to the results of the students from traditional classroom setting. Assessment scores will be the dependent variables. The literature review of six peer-reviewed articles is included.
