Chunking, the technique of grouping similar concepts together in order to aid memory, has long been associated with better working memory performance. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of chunking on the memorization of words. While every theoretical framework has merit, this author believes that many of the dominant theories-- realism (specifically neorealism, in contrast to “classical realism”), liberalism and neofunctionalism--are inadequate in their ability to properly describe the changes that have taken place in recent Turkish international relations.
